• 不知道在美国，做家政保洁这份工作会被多少人看不起？在国内，很多人听到这份工作可能会感到心酸。之前，我的室友大哥大姐突然有了洗车的灵感，决定去干保洁。我们三个人在家里讨论后，也决定尝试家政合作。

    说实话，我觉得很多人来美国后都有这样的想法。无论哪个行业，靠双手吃饭都是值得尊重的。但话说回来，做家政保洁多少还是有点降低身份的感觉。我们讨论时还担心，这样做会不会把气质给弄没了。其实，我们本来也没什么气质。

    大哥突然分配了任务给我们：洗窗户！虽然我很能干，天天干活，但如果说是修电、水管、油漆这些粗活我还能应付，但打扫别人家我还真有点忐忑。上次室友S去做了钟点工，结果受不了主人的差遣，因为什么都要按规定时间来。

    虽然我外表看起来特别有包容心，但说实话，换我是受不了这种伺候人的活。什么递水请慢喝，根本做不到啊。当然，如果是高端行业我可能也行，像我策划礼仪这一块做了很多年，其实也懂。但去别人家做这些事，我真做不到。室友S也是新手，还没空喝水。

A while ago, my roommates suddenly had the idea of ​​washing cars and decided to go into cleaning. After discussing it at home, the three of us decided to try working together as a housecleaner.

    To be honest, I think many people have this thought after coming to the United States. No matter what profession, earning a living with your own hands is worthy of respect. But then again, working as a housecleaner can feel a bit demeaning. During our discussion, we worried about whether it would diminish our elegance. Actually, we don't have much elegance to begin with.

    My roommate suddenly assigned us a task: washing windows! Although I'm quite capable and work every day, I can handle rough work like electrical work, plumbing, and painting, but cleaning other people's homes makes me a little nervous. Last time, my roommate S started working part-time, but she couldn't stand being told what to do because everything had to be done on a set schedule.

    Although I appear very tolerant, honestly, I can't stand this kind of waitressing. Pass the water and ask for your drink slowly? I can't do that. Sure, if it were a high-end industry, I might be able to do it. I've been planning etiquette for years, so I understand it. But when I go to someone else's house and do these things, I just can't do them. My roommate S is also new here and hasn't had time to drink water yet.

    这边的工作真的能算，一天2-3小时的活挤在一起让人干，还包括做饭。当然，也不怪人家，愿意的人大把，一次$50多呢。

    好吧，洗窗户的任务来了，我和室友S、房东L三个人合计了一下，决定去试试。过去后，发现房子里有很多窗户，包括百叶、窗框、玻璃，里里外外都要擦。我一直觉得自己干不了这么仔细的活，但房东L可以，速度也快。我发现我还有优势：我会拆纱窗，也会拿下窗户。哈哈，我就知道我力气大！

    室友S负责洗纱窗等，时间过得挺快的。做了好几个小时才把整套房子做完。老实说，我们能力还行，但我发现真的好累哦。因为拆拆装装，我感觉自己一点力气都没了，真的是太累了。这还不是说打扫卫生累，是拆装非常累。腰酸背痛啊！

    今天的体验就是非常累，但也有成就感——赚美金啊！不过接下来因为房东和我还有室友工资分配问题，三个人达不成一致意见，速度、分配、效果都不在一个频道上。室友没做过粗活年轻肯定慢点；房东打扫挺好但工资看不上；我就粗但快。今天我觉得累死手疼，顾客非常满意。

    下次谁需要家政服务可以呼喊我！靠自己赚钱，我觉得都值得尊重！

I'd always thought I couldn't handle such meticulous work, but my landlord L could, and he was fast. I realized I had an advantage: I could remove window screens and take down windows. Haha, I just knew I had a lot of strength!

    My roommate S was in charge of cleaning the window screens and other tasks, and the time flew by. It took several hours to finish the entire house. Honestly, we were okay, but I was incredibly exhausted. All that disassembly and assembly left me feeling completely drained. It was truly exhausting. And it wasn't just the cleaning itself that was tiring; the disassembly and assembly was incredibly tiring. My back and waist ached!

    Today's experience was incredibly tiring, but also rewarding—earning US dollars! However, the landlord, my roommate, and I were left with a disagreement about how to split the wages. We were all on the same page about speed, distribution, and results. My roommate, young and new to rough work, was definitely slower; the landlord cleaned well, but the pay wasn't great; I was rough but fast. I was exhausted today, my hands ached, and the client was very satisfied.
